Our Alburtis branch is looking for a new Operations Manager to join our Contract Logistics team #LI-OnsiteYOUR ROLEYou will support production department managers to develop the smooth flow of inventory into the warehouse for both shipping and storage of one of our healthcare accounts.
You will oversee a two-shift operation team for this account.
You will manage staffing, warehouse operations, maintenance of the facility and equipment, implementation of safety, security, budgeting, and customer service.
You will report to Warehouse Site Manager and this is Onsite roleYOUR RESPONSIBILITIES You will develop programs to ensure the efficient and cost-effective operation and use of the facility and equipment You will lead warehouse meetings, collaborate with the management team to establish goals and complete annual performance reviews.
You will control and direct all transportation into and out of the warehouse to meet company standards.
Plan long range labor needs based on production forecasts and input from management Support Production Department Managers to develop smooth flow of inventory into the warehouse for both shipping and storage and ensure compliance with all DC safety policies.
You will set up the standard training program for all levels of employees involved in the operations and to train them YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES Five years of warehouse management experience, managing productivity andlabor planning in a high volume, fast paced, distribution environment -Pharmaceutical / Healthcare Background is a plus Proven proficiency working in Oracle.
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management discipline or manufacturing.
Proficiency in MS excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets) GOOD REASON TO JOINThere has never been a better time to work in logistics.
