Substation Physical Designer

EG&R Engineering PC is a fast-growing multi-disciplinary engineering firm located in Cranbury, NJ.
EG&R provides electrical, mechanical, environmental and geotechnical engineering services for a variety of markets including government, utilities/power, waste to energy companies, transit agencies, manufacturing industries, pharmaceuticals, A-E firms/Architects, and various types of commercial clients.
EG&R Engineering is seeking a Physical Layout Designer with Substation / Power experience to serve as an integral part of a talented team.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include working with a team of Electrical Engineers and Design drafters to generate Electrical layout drawings for High Voltage Substations and / or Power Plants.
Responsibilities will include preparing the following drawings for substation or power plant facilities:
General Arrangement Electrical Equipment Plans Conduit/Cable Schedules Electrical Details - Section views and elevations Bill of Material Conduit / Raceway Plans / Cable Tray Lighting, Grounding, Power, Heat Tracing, etc Perform facility / substation walkdowns Following client's standards All other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Previous work experience as Physical Designer in the Power Industry (substations / power plants) Experience using AutoCAD and/or Microstation.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a team environment The applicant must have good oral and written communication skills and the ability to be part of a project team Flexible work from home options available.
Recommended Skills Auto Cad Communication Electrical Diagrams Electrical Installation Work Electrical Substation Interpersonal Skills Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
