We are currently sourcing for an On-site Manager in Cranbury NJ to work directly at the facility of one of our premier distribution customers. An On-site Manager will be responsible for the overall management of the account and providing exceptional customer service to our customer.
Responsibilities include:
Ensure that the customerEUR(TM)s labor requirements are consistently met each day, and that all new job orders are filled in a timely manner.
Greet and check in employees at shift starting times.
Develop and execute strategic high volume recruiting strategies.
Facilitate new hire orientations
Interacting and motivating the temporary workforce
Coaching and counseling
Development of recognition and retention strategies to reduce turnover.
Maintain effective communications with the customer and temporary employees.
Measurement and reporting
Accurate processing of payroll and management of web-based timekeeping systems
Perform quality control functions to ensure the customer is satisfied across all levels of the organization.
Development and presentation of quarterly performance reviews and solutions for continuous improvement.
Work closely with the recruiting team
Recruiting strategies to maintain a proactive pool of employees to meet large volume staffing needs for ASAP orders.
Participation in safety programs
Ensure compliance to the contract between the customer and Staffmark.
Successful candidates for the On-site Manager position will:
Have at least 2 years of management experience in the Staffing Industry with high volume on-site accounts preferably in a warehouse environment
Have a bachelorEUR(TM)s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Be highly energetic and flexible to work hours to meet customer service requirements. Early work starting times are a must!
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Have a strong customer service attitude
Be able to effectively plan, organize, prioritize and multi-task in fast-paced environments.
Have excellent written and verbal communications skills.
