Position Summary
As a member of the Amicus Therapeutics Global FP&A Team, the (Associate) Director of Strategic FP&A will be the interface between strategic functions and the Finance team. He/she will work closely with the Director, Decision Support and Market Analytics in regards to all financial modeling efforts for global marketing, business development and portfolio management. He/she will also be responsibility for developing advanced valuation models to support global long-range planning and corporate decision support. This is a high visibility role providing financial modeling, planning, analysis and guidance on all corporate strategy and global business insights.
Roles and Responsibilities
Lead the design, implementation, management, and maintenance of advanced models, analytical tools, methodologies, and software to support strategic corporate decisions related to portfolio management, commercial brand management, and business development.
Partner with Global Marketing and Business Development to accurately model and forecast key clinical programs ? including rigorous quantitative portfolio analyses and valuation (sum-of-the-parts) modeling as it relates to corporate valuation analysis, scenario modeling, and insight generation
Manage and prioritize pipeline of modeling and strategic FP&A needs for various business partners including global marketing, business development, portfolio management, etc.
Provide quantitative technical and analytical support for Amicus' long-range planning process and other ad-hoc projects
Responsible to partner with Financial Systems manager to ensure CPM (Tagetik) and ERP (Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains) are developed appropriately to support corporate strategy needs
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent experience required. MA in Finance, MBA, CFA, CMA, and/or CPA is highly preferred.
5+ years' experience in pharma/biotech investment banking, equity research, and/or strategic/management consulting
7+ years' professional experience with financial/valuation modeling
Prior experience with financial planning and analysis and long-range planning a plus
Experience and Skills
Proven ability to cultivate effective business partnerships with and among global marketing/brand teams, business development, commercial operations, and portfolio management.
Excellent interpersonal skills with strong communication, influencing and strategic thinking skills ? driving value to the business
Expert excel modeling (including valuation modeling), data visualization, and effective presentation skills ? experience with decision analysis software and Monte Carlo simulation a plus
Ability to quickly establish credibility as strategic financial modeling expert and be perceived as a leader
0-10% as needed to support global strategic modeling efforts

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
