Head, Global Talent Acquisition

The Head of Global Talent Acquisition will ensure that Amicus has the capability to meet global business requirements and growth plans by building and leading the global talent acquisition function including the design, development and implementation of a globally integrated talent acquisition practice.  This position will be responsible for developing and executing the overall strategy for global talent acquisition including evaluating the needed structure, systems, processes and resources to meet requirements of a dynamic business. The Global Talent Acquisition leader will develop and implement recruitment tools, increase branding awareness and maintain metrics relative to the attraction of top talent for the organization. Given current plans for growth, this role will need to develop and maintain a scalable infrastructure and capabilities to attract top talent worldwide. Roles and Responsibilities Develop and implement a strategic plan to build a best-in-class talent acquisition operation that delivers on the organization's need for attracting top talent worldwide.This includes building an effective and efficient internal TA team along with the systems, processes, policies which span across the talent acquisition process (job descriptions, hiring profiles, individual recruitment strategies, candidate assessment & selection, employment offers, etc.) Develop and hold the team accountable for metrics that measure effectiveness of processes, candidate quality and candidateexperience/outcome.Identify, capture and report on relevant recruitment performance metrics and adjust operations as required to maintain best-in-class results. Develop and manage a network of preferred global external sourcing resources including agencies and executive search firms.Create standardization of processes, alignment of expectations, and ensure compliance and alignment of all vendor relationships. Work with senior management, corporate communications, IT and other applicable functions to develop and implement an Amicus employment brand that positions company as a clear employer of choice.Maintain the Amicus Careers Website as an enabler of this activity.Work with HR colleagues in identifying external opportunities for recognition of our employment brand and culture. Advance the use of new and innovative methods of sourcing talent to increase capability and capacity of pipeline, including direct sourcing, networking/ data mining, and internal referrals. Track and evolve talent pools for future staffing needs. Work with HR colleagues and hiring managers to ensure Amicus meets legal and regulatory requirements in all markets relative to recruitment and hiring practices, related employment laws, affirmative action requirements/goals, etc. Qualifications and Background Requirements Undergraduate degreerequired, preferably in human resources, sciences or related discipline; MA/MBA is desirable. 10+ years of experience in talent acquisition including a demonstrated record of success in building and managing a high performing global talent acquisition team within a global pharmaceutical firm, and/or a recruitment agency serving the pharmaceuticals industry.  Experience working in a small organization is highly preferred. Experience managing and effectively leading a talent acquisition team and developing scalable, best-in-class talent acquisition systems and processes. Possesses proven relationships with search partners and a solid network within leading companies. Understanding and knowledge of building a global talent pool. General experience as a human resources professional with a breadth of knowledge in multiple human resources disciplines is desirable. Specialized knowledge, Licenses, etc.:  Strong knowledge of US and international employment laws and regulations as they relate to recruitment activities. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
